Do you own the software, or just the tool from your machine and you do not need to install it
I have seen no signs that Corel is taking care of Corel clients, but they certainly don’t want to share their Corel hardware to anyone else.
How do you support Corel clients in your project or software How does the community feel about Corel itself
Corel is a very simple software which adds some interesting features to your software, which we hope is part of bringing a new level of fun to everyone. Our core is a free software-based project hosted by a consortium led by the OpenSource community (which is why we will focus on developers of core libraries. If you don’t want more freebies than I have in stock for this project, be sure to give it a go, it helps). Corel is also a simple software which takes advantage of many great parts of the system. We are looking forward to working with Corel to bring back exciting features which make Corel a better tool for building large distributed systems.
How is this community managed Did Corel come to you so early on
Corel has existed since before the Internet, as it is a project with many great contributions. As a community, Corel is very active. We invite even Corel users to join in, help us out and make Corel even better. It’s really an awesome community of people who care as much as anyone, we invite you all to join or work with us. We want it to be more welcoming to others.
How are you running Corel and helping it grow and evolve Do you provide feedback or advice to the community, or do you just work there for a few days and get bored
The Community is very active, our main contributors, like the Corel team, get a lot of feedback and are pretty well paid so it makes sense we are on their side.
