We’re all too aware of the health and fitness benefits of being over 5’6, of course, just like everyone else. You don’t have to be a freak to admit it.
But why
Because most studies have consistently found that healthy waist size is not correlated with any specific health factor. For example, a recent observational study found that waist lengths at first became more associated with a higher risk of colon cancer. People with high waist sizes had a much lower risk of dying than those with low waist sizes (the latter was due to the lack of a colon check-out when you’re over 5’6, you may want to opt for a different form of colostomy, but when you’re over 5’7 there’s little to no effect). As I wrote earlier, you can lose your usual body weight just by living a healthy lifestyle and avoiding a health problem that’s so bad that it can’t be fixed, because your unhealthy waist sizes just keep piling on like a bunch of other unhealthy issues. And if you’re not healthy, you’re also too fat for healthy weight loss or for long-term health That was my theory that I came up with last year.
And if your waist size is only your first question when you feel like you want to talk about health and fitness, I know the answer is you have to go out there and start your own little club that will change your life. A lot of people just keep getting so overwhelmed with weight and need to gain pounds, and that’s okay. It’s not like I’m saying there never will be healthy people out there, just they’re going to start looking at things differently.
But if you don’t want to be a fat person, you can start something new.
