A large group of scientists today released a new study entitled New scientific findings make the human race a stronger and happier species, at least as it was a moment of great opportunity in our history.
The study published today, by researchers at the University of Chicago, and published online in Biology Letters, provides a detailed picture of how scientists have been able to predict what is going to drive life on Earth for us for most of the past three billion years.
The scientists are
Mark Lutfi, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Illinois Mark J. Schmitt, a postdoctoral fellowship fellow at the National Center for Biotechnology Information and Chris Lutfi, a fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Human history is an example of an emerging and well-understood scientific discipline, said Dr Lutfi, who leads the study.
It has always been clear that our ancestors, the closest known relatives in the fossil record, lived only a few million years ago. Scientists now know that our origins and lifestyles evolved as we developed technologically, culturally, and genetically.

While humans lived long before the fossil record, the earliest time for which data exists is 2 million years ago.
