How Much Do Day Traders Make Per Year - Investors Underground
Here’s the price data for 201415
This shows a pretty decent trend. The most recent data indicate that today’s trading volume is around 30 larger, which is well above our previous estimates, and more than triple what we had predicted. We also see an increase of almost 10 between our two best estimates. We don’t know where this comes from, but we think it’s the result of high volatility in the currency and an increase in the share of stocks that we think is being made by the long-term value of commodities such as gold, stocks and other commodities.
The chart below displays the volume of futures contracts
While we expect this percentage increase to continue over time, we believe we have a better shot at making money. If the volume of contracts continues to climb, this year’s volume growth will likely go into decline as well. So we don’t know for sure when or how. A more likely explanation is that stock prices have been moving higher, though we are not sure what that will mean for our current position on short position.
Here are some key things to keep in mind about the volume numbers for the first time
A little bit of movement in commodities can cause more volatility for sellers in the price bracket, which could lead to a drop in the total amount that traders are willing to pay for their services. In addition, we are seeing a decrease in the volume of futures contracts in terms of the volatility of the commodity traded. When you look at the volatility, we think the biggest culprit here is overzealously high volatility in commodity futures. To mitigate this, we are keeping track of futures contracts we have already sold on multiple occasions.
As mentioned above, while we do think that commodity spreads are not getting worse, we believe that trading volume at the beginning of the year is already falling due to low commodity spreads. It will probably take awhile for us to get a good idea for what the numbers are expected to be this year. We are still hoping for growth in the long run and believe that by doing some things this year, we will allow our long-term futures activity to grow, especially given the continued pace of the market.
For 2016, we believe we are starting to see a little bit of a pickup here. At the beginning of the year, we believe we have stabilized above the highs that are projected by long-term commodity traders. If we are right about this, we can expect a little more of that to happen. This
