After he was hired as a director in 1979, Blaine was hired by the Daughters of Charity. The Daughters of Charity have been dedicated to helping those in need during Hurricane Katrina, and many of the people they serve are in need in need of help in that area. While Blaine was in charge of the organization, the Daughters of Charity had also helped in making sure that hospitals that need to have money are available to those needing them. The Daughters of Charity also received help in finding food for its homeless residents. Blaine explained that while the Daughters of Charity works extremely hard to help those in dire need, it is important to look at the causes we can work with in order to help those in need. In the past, Blaine and his wife, Donna, were involved in the organization, helping people in need in all areas today, they provide all the resources to help those in need of support in that area who are in need. The Daughters of Charity has also offered food to hospitals.
