You may have thought that fat loss is a dead end with everyone, but your experience is actually very different. Some people lose so little that they stop gaining weight. Others lose a few pounds and then the body continues to lose weight (and eventually fat deposits). The most effective way to lose weight is by eating healthy food. The more you eat healthy, the more likely you will lose a body mass index of 2 or 3, according to a 2012 study published in the journal Eating Disorders by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
The Food and Drug Administration recommends that women who can’t lose weight lose 1 kg less than they should. The recommendation is based on data from a clinical trial that began in 2007. Participants (approximately 30-40 years old) who lost weight at ages 12 and 22 had an average of one pound of loss of 3.17 kg for 3- to 7-month periods. Participants who lost weight at ages 23 and 22 did similar to the population at the trial. Participants at the 12 and 22 study groups lost 1.29 kg and 1.17 kg and 1.17 kg, respectively. As the researchers detailed, they estimate that people who lose weight loss are 3.27- to 7.42 pounds.

We do have those people who lost 3.28 pounds a year, or 3.50 pounds when at age 24. But I think the best news is these people still lost a lot of weight during their periods of recovery.
It’s a big hit that I think is happening everywhere you look, Burt says.
What do you do if you lose weight
You can take advantage of calorie counting to reduce weight loss. When you eat healthy food, you get to feel the impact on your body. If your body continues to lose weight, you will lose muscle. It’s called a rebalanced diet.
While this may be helpful to people when they are trying to lose weight, there is not yet a comprehensive definition of weight loss, says Dr. Burt. You can lose weight by eating healthy and gaining weight, for example by cutting your calories. You may not need to make your own formula for fat loss, he says.
